Hey! So stoked to share this post today. Welcome to my first ever video house tour! We just celebrated the anniversary of our 10th year in our home! Can you believe it? Neither Jeff or I have lived in one place for so long, our home really has become part of our family. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share how far we’ve come, and how we’ve really made this place ours. So check out the vid right now (note if you’re reading this in a reader you may have to click directly to the site or watch it in youtube)! I figure it’s Friday, and you guys probably need a reason to distract yourselves from work. See if you can spot Loon – she makes a lot of guest appearances. Let me know what you think, if you like that I share in a video format and if you’d watch more if I shared more videos. I’m new to this, so be nice. I’m also curious if the house seems different to you now that you can get a better feel for the layout. If you like what you see, subscribe to my youtube channel – I sound just like one of those youtubers!
Video Notes
Here’s the full House Tour in picture form and this link will get you to sources and paint colors.
Music is by my pal Lazerbeak – he has a few albums on spotify if you’d like to listen to more.
The video was shot using this camera, with this tripod and on this slider.
Gosh – your home is so magical! I just adore your style, you are so talented. Thanks for sharing! I’d love to see a similar video of the cabin someday!
Inspiring!! So beautiful and I’m loving the clean & uncluttered look! I’m going to spend my quarantine time thinning my house out!
How nice to get a tour of your cozy and beautiful house. I realized you don’t have a tv on the main floor, is that correct? Just in the basement, right? I love the idea of having some distance from it in the areas that are most used during the day. Also, I wonder is the bedroom with all the green plants a guest room? I don’t recall it seeing it very often. I have three kids and I would have loved seeing your kids room (although I think you had a post about it not long ago ;)). Again, great house and tour!
I’m catching up on your posts a bit after the fact, but must say: lovely. I’ve seen still photos of various parts of your house, of course (having followed your blog for some time), but seeing it all contiguous like this triples my appreciation for all you’ve done. Beauty!
