Guys, this might be old news to some of you, but I wanted to make sure that if you didn’t know, you know now, that Google Reader is going away to that big binary palace in the sky. Yep that’s right, as of July 1st, Google Reader will be no more. It makes me sad to see my old buddy go. Even though Google Reader is very basic, and a bit unattractive, it is all I have ever known when it comes to keeping up with my favorite blogs. I’m totally one of those people that never tries anything new at a restaurant. Once I find what works, I stick with it. Moving on and trying new feed readers was a bit scary for me, but I’ve found a few that I love, and wanted to share them with you!

I have now discovered Feedly and Bloglovin’ which help me read the internet in a much, much, much prettier way. Who knew? I should’ve tried this sooner!

Both Feedly and Bloglovin‘ make it super easy to migrate all your favorite feeds over from Google Reader, really it only takes a few quick minutes and you’re done. So if you haven’t yet, migrate your feeds, (just click the links above) and make sure to include the old Henhouse in there.
