Guess what? My new Cross Lake plate that I posted about yesterday was my inspiration for this post today. Prior to Meredith asking where I got my plates, I was planning on sharing with you my little secret. I find all my vintage plates on Etsy. My first plate (a Minnesota Sesquicentennial plate) was inherited from my great grandma and that’s what gave my little collection momentum. I mean, I couldn’t just have one lonely plate hanging on the wall, it needed plate friends. Great Gma was a plate collector too, and had billions of them, it was my duty to keep the fam tradish alive.
