Hey Guys,
You might have noticed that I have been up to a lot of new things around the old Henhouse these days. I’ve got the new site redesign, some new features (like the etsy finds), a really awesome new spotlight involving cool people and studio tours, and some new projects I’d like to share with you. To celebrate all the new changes and to welcome you to the new and improved Henhouse, I’d like to try something new, a GIVEAWAY! Yep that’s right. Colz and I are going to be giving away a suite of 3 Valentine’s (featured below) from our stationery shop, The Henhouse Press.
All this being said, I’d love it if you made yourself at home, check out the new space, nose around and head over to the Facebook page where I have been sharing news, a few instagram photos and some other random inspiration.
Here’s the Deets:
❤ This Giveaway is for a suite of the above 3 Valentines. The top 2 are letterpressed A2 notecards in Fuschia and the bottom is a handmade, Gocco screen printed note card (also A2) in Neon Pink & Gold. Your sweetie(s) will love these!
❤ Enter your name and email address in the comments.
❤ Tell me who’s your special valentine(s)
❤ Entries will be accepted through the end of the day (8pm CST) Wednesday, February 8th and the winner will be announced on Thursday, February 9th!
❤ The winner will be randomly selected from the pool and notified by email.
❤ International and domestic participants are welcome, and the items will be shipped for free anywhere.
❤ Please do not email your entry, I will only accept submissions left in the comments, thank you!!!
Hi! I love your space here. I found you during a tour on AT and have been a dedicated follower ever since. My valentines are my husband who actually loves the colour pink, my son who doesn’t fall far from the tree and my mom. Thanks!
Hey Jessica,
Thanks for stopping by all the time. I really appreciate it. Also, I think there might be another House Tour in the works!
Hmmm…my usual special valentine is MIA, but maybe I should still try to send him a Valentine…
Beak is an asshole. Love, Scoops
Love the new site design! Totally cool. My special valentine is Karl…I definitely need a cute card to send him! :)
These are really great!
My special V-tine’s love is Jes.
Nice Boss reference!
I think your the only one that appreciates the Boss reference… I mean it’s like the one song that consistently gets stuck in my head.
Ha, Totally.
I like how on The River, it’s “Crush on You” then two songs later it “I Wanna Marry You”.
Ease up Bruce, you only just met her a couple of minutes ago.
It’s that whole side of the record. Totally love crazed. Just had to go listen to it to remind myself how much I love it.
My valentine is my marvelous boyfriend; he makes me a better person!
Love your twin cities home and your great site. My valentine is my handsome hubby Christopher Robin…yes, that really is his name.
Ha. That is awesome, but I bet he hates it – I’m sure people are always cracking jokes about his name.
Do you guys live in the Twin Cities??
Love love love the new look! My hubby and infant son are my sweeties for Valentines.
Thanks Jo!
My valentines this year are my after-school kiddos, all 15 of them! I teach an after school arts/crafts class to elementary school kids and would love to see more posts of how you get crafty with your wee ones!
It’s good to hear that someone would like to see more kiddy craft projects. I always like blogging that stuff but am worried sometimes that it bores everybody else. I will totally include some more in the future.
Do you watch all 15 kids solo? If so that is totally nuts.
My valentine is my husband James.
PS – I absolutely love your site!
Thanks Jenna!
It’s so nice to hear that people are liking the new look.
I love the new Wordpress digs. Welcome! I enjoy your blog. It makes me want to do more home improvement. In fact, right when you were switching your blog over, I was trying to copy the shelves you have above a radiator in a weird little niche I have next to my chimney. Then your site disappeared! But I haven’t gotten around to hanging the shelves year anyway, so no problem. I would love to win some Valentines… Meg
Oh no, I was hoping no one needed to check out the site during those tenuous 48 hours. I hope you can find the post that you’re looking for now.
BTW, that taco soup on your blog looks awesome – plus I love making things that involve pouring ingredients out of a can :)
I totally found what I was looking for…it was the shelf hanging project in the Things Done, Things to Do post. When I saw the shelves in the nook over your radiator, I thought, “what a great idea” and then I walked into a room and saw that I had a nook that needed the shelves. And I headed straight to Ikea.
And part of the problem with me trying to visit your blog during the switch was somehow my link got broken. I got all caught up now.
I am glad you visited my blog. Thank you! I hope you’ll come back. That taco soup is really good. Its one of those super easy meals that punches above its weight.
Have a great weekend.
Your blog is looking awesome, Mrs. Erin Rooney turned me on to it. She is one of my valentines and so is my partner, Parker.
Kathy,
Roonz is the best, I’m glad you consider her one of your Valentines.
Thanks for the nice words about the blog!
