Our office and music room exist off the back of our dining room, behind the buffet. It’s a smaller space with no closet that I believe would have served as a maid’s quarters or to room a boarder. The room was covered in floral wallpaper and it too a lot of patience to remove. We skim coated, painted and added new wallpaper, but only on one wall, and much, much cooler. For most of it’s life it has served us as our music room. We have a piano, guitars, ukuleles, a violin, an accordions and a saxophone, oh and nearly 1000 records. In 2017, Jeff began working from home, and thus it serves double duty as our music room office. What? It’s cool to have a piano in the background during your video conferences. We’re doing our best to make this small space work for us.
