We purchased our cabin in late summer of 2017. It has always been a dream of ours to own a cabin, and we feel so fortunate and happy that we were able to make it happen for us. We were lucky to find what we affectionatley call the West Wisco Country Club. It had been a rental for many years, and hadn’t seen real TLC in a long time – let’s just say there was 40 year old wall-to-wall shag carpet, wood paneling galore, and a bad smell. I can see why it was a diamond in the rough waiting to be polished. Since the first day I’ve been updating here and there, doing a quick project over a short weekend. Most recently I have been working on remodeling the main floor bathroom. The cabin has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens and Do It Yourself Magazine.”
